- Abstract
The article offers information on the European guideline for treating and managing lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV). It says that LGV is common on the population of European men who have sex with men (MSM) and is usually the cause of proctotis and genital ulcer-adenopathy disease. It states that LGV is caused by Chlamydia trachomatis. It mentions that LGV can be diagnosed through nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) and can be treated through the use of oral doxycycline.
