- Abstract
The article presents a research which utilizes the chemistry of organic residues from archaeological potsherds in getting data into the dietary trends and economies during the Neolithic period in Central Europe. The approach includes δ13C and δ15N of the bulk organic residues and fatty acids distribution. The researchers claim that the data offer direct proof of milk and meat consumption and farming practices for a sustainable dairying.
