- Abstract
The syntheses and crystal structures of six substituted benzenesulfonyl-asparagine derivatives are reported. Despite showing three different unit cells and crystal symmetries, the molecular conformations and robust packing motifsare essentially the same in the six structures. In each case, [010] chains in which adjacent molecules are linked by three N-H···O hydrogen bonds are crosslinked by O-H···O hydrogen bonds to generate (001) sheets. Weak inter-sheet π-π interactions occur in some of the structures.
