- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 67-year-old woman with abdominal pain from a mass at the superior abdominal quadrants. A cholecystectomy was performed to remove the cyst and the diagnosis was hepatic segment IV-V agenesis substituted by a congenital cystic lesion around the gallbladder. A description of the cyst and method to ascertain the origin of the mass are included.
