- Abstract
The article presents a study that evaluated the effect of cytochrome P450 2A6 (CYP2A6) genetic variation on the pharmacokinetics of metronidazole in a small cohort of preterm neonates. Topics covered include the source of genetic samples, estimation of metronidazole clearance, isolation of genomic DNA, and determination of CYP2A6 genotype.
