- Abstract
Echocardiography was suggestive of an infiltrative process involving the septum (Panel A) and right ventricle (RV) free wall consistent with malignant disease or an advanced inflammatory process (see Supplementary videos S1 and S2 online). Cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging revealed confluent abnormal tissue in the basal anterior septum, anterior wall, RV outflow tract, and RV free wall associated with extensive late gadolinium enhancement (Panel B). Dedicated cardiac images found patchy and intense FDG uptake in the RV free wall, interventricular septum, parts of the lateral wall, and interatrial septum (Panel E).
