Studies the tumefactive necrobiotic granulomas of the pancreas in an adult with lone-standing rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Documentation of the occurrence of rheumatoid nodulosis of the pancreas in and adult woman with a 7-year history of seropositive RA who presented with upper abdominal pain; Factors that prompted a subsequent distal pancreatectomy; Elevation of serum pancreatic polypeptide observed in patients with RA and other systemic non-infectious and infectious inflammatory disorders in the absence of a pancreatic or intestinal neuroendocrine neoplasm.
