- Abstract
The article presents a case-control study which examines the accuracy of conventional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in detecting amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The study analyzes clinical and MRI data from 64 patients with a definite retrospective diagnosis of ALS. It suggests that conventional MRI was not found to be a reliable diagnostic tool for ALS.
