- Abstract
In today's world, employability and job insertion are fundamental in a competitive labor market, since employability refers to an individual's ability to find and maintain a job and job insertion provides opportunities for personal and professional growth, development of skills, acquisition of knowledge and experience in graduates of educational institutions. Therefore, the objective of this work is to analyze the relationship between employability and job placement of graduates from a Higher Education Institution (HEI). The type of research is transversal, with a descriptive scope and a quantitative approach. The sample obtained by simple random sampling and to be representative, was calculated at a confidence level of 95%, with a margin of error of 5%. The instrument was applied to 113 graduates of the Faculty of Economic-Administrative Sciences of the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala (UATx). The results show that employability has a favorable relationship with job placement, since it could be demonstrated that the majority of graduates in their first and last job were inserted based on their qualities, degree level of study and had the opportunity of being hired as permanent employees. In addition, it could be observed that the more work experience the HEI graduates acquire, the salary increases significantly.
