- Abstract
This article, titled "Caesarean scar pregnancy: a case report highlighting diagnosis and management," discusses a rare condition called Caesarean scar pregnancy (CSP), which affects 1 in 2,000 pregnancies and accounts for about 6% of ectopic pregnancies in women who have had a previous Caesarean section. The article emphasizes the importance of distinguishing CSP from other conditions such as spontaneous abortion or cervical pregnancy. The case report describes a 41-year-old woman who was initially misdiagnosed with a spontaneous abortion but was later diagnosed with CSP through transvaginal ultrasound. The article suggests that hysteroscopic removal of CSP is a viable option for management and provides a good prognosis.
