- Abstract
The article discusses research conducted to investigate how individuals made their decision about whether to enroll in a Parkinson's disease clinical trial. Researchers evaluated 66 potential subjects. They found that most potential research subjects had no irrational expectations about the research and that improving the informed consent process may prove difficult if researchers misunderstand what subjects say about studies they are recruited for.
