- Abstract
The article describes attitudes about and perceived barriers to exercise in patients with cardiovascular disease. It used a sample of convenience recruited from a regional medical center. Patient background medical information was obtained through chart review and interview. Furthermore, the physical function subscale of the RAND 36-Item Health Survey and the Telephone Interview of Cognitive Function were used to characterize physical and cognitive function, respectively.
