- Abstract
The article presents research on improvement in ligninolytic properties by recombinant expression of glyoxal oxidase gene in fungus Phanerochaete sordida YK-624. It mentions the cloning of glyoxal oxidases (GLOX)-encoding gene (glx) of Phanerochaete chrysosporium along with the expression of glx. The study revealed that the ligninolytic properties of the fungi can be improved by recombinant expression of glx.
