- Abstract
THE existence of arsenic resistance in the blue tick, Boophilus decoloratus, in certain regions of South Africa has been known for 16 years1. In a study of this phenomenon, the concentrations of sulphydryl-containing compounds in embryos of the sensitive and resistant strains of this tick have been determined.
