- Abstract
A comparative study was made of the antibiograms of 318 out of a total of 367 pseudomonads other than that were recovered from cancer patients and their environment at the Baltimore Cancer Research Center (BCRC) with the antibiograms obtained in an earlier 20-month study when the BCRC was located in a different facility. Statistically significant differences in antibiograms occurred most frequently in and . No unidirectional change in response to an antibiotic occurred, although more strains in locale 2 were susceptible to carbenicillin. Susceptibility patterns of these ‘non-aeruginosa’ species against certain antimicrobial agents continue to be useful in intraspecies and interspecies differentiation.
