- Abstract
A wellbore-reservoir coupling model was established to accurately predict the key parameters along the dual-tube horizontal wellbore in heavy oil reservoir and improve the heating uniformity along the lateral section. The heat transfer between wellbore and formation was considered according to the structure of dual-tube horizontal well string. A full implicit finite difference was used to solve this wellbore-reservoir coupling model. The model was used to predict the key parameters along the wellbore, which shows an accurate and reliable performance with a maximum error of 7.05%. As time increases, the wellbore steam pressure and temperature initial increase and then decrease. While the steam quality initially decreases and then increases. The steam pressure drop and temperature drop mainly distribute in the long-tube. Comparing with the performance of short-tube injecting and long-tube unloading, the formation heating uniformity level of long-tube injecting and short-tube unloading can be enhanced by II. II% and 26. 74% respectively under homogeneous wellbore properties and high heel formation quality. Short-tube injecting and long-tube unloading is more efficient than long-tube injecting and short-tube unloading under high toe formation properties, and the formation heating uniformity level can be enhanced by II. 76%. This research could lay a foundation for the key parameter prediction along the wellbore and the uniform reservoir heating optimization.
