- Abstract
Considering that the association of two or more fungicides for the control of plant diseases has been a usual practice, the objective of this work was to characterize the performance of sitespecific systemic fungicides, with and without the association of protective fungicide, in the control of target spot on soybean. Experiment was conducted in the agricultural year 2014/2015, under field conditions, in Porto Nacional, Tocantins, Brazil. The experimental design was a randomized block design with four replications. Applications of systemic fungicides Piraclostrobina + Fluxapiroxade, Azoxistrobina + Benzovindiflupir e Azoxistrobina + Ciproconazol were carried with protective fungicide mancozeb and compared with the control without fungicide application. Followed by evaluations of the severity of the target spot in the reproductive stages R2, R3, R4, R5.1, R5.3, R5.5 and R6, area below the disease progress curve (AACPD), defoliation, mass of 1000 grains and grain yield. Applications of Piraclostrobin + Fluxapiroxade, associated with the protective fungicide Mancozeb, promoted less progress of the target spot, as well as a lower percentage of defoliation, in soybean plants, besides significant increases of mass and grain production.
