- Abstract
Target of Rapamycin inhibition in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii triggers de novo amino acid synthesis by enhancing nitrogen assimilation. In these cells, treatment with rapamycin or the TOR inhibitor AZD-8055 induced substantial accumulation of almost all amino acids in the first five minutes of TOR inhibition.
