- Abstract
The article discusses the attributes of cocaine and amphetamines as common drugs of abuse and are known to be stimulants. It mentions that both cocaine and amphetamines increase norepinephrine and dopamine through the alteratopm of transport propteins that results toheightened arousal of symnpathetic nervous system. It cites the process of stimulating positive trauma patients through the use of amphetamines and cocaine.
