- Abstract
An editorial is presented in which the authors discuss the uptake of COVID-19 vaccines in American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities in the U.S. It examines public health surveillance programs initiated in AI/AN communities, the engagement of AI/AN communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the significance of culture and the concept of contextual heterogeneity.
