- Abstract
Presents a study which evaluated the effects of ibuprofen, piroxicam and sulindac on renal functions in patients with asymptomatic chronic renal failure. Demographics of patients who participated in the study; Observation on peripheral blood platelet production of thromboxane during therapy with the three nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents; Discussion on the association between ibuprofen-induced acute reversible renal failure and suppression of renal prostaglandins.
