- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 22-year-old Caucasian woman with bilateral lung masses who was diagnosed during work-up for knee surgery. She was confirmed to have AV malformations (AVM) with the use of CT angiography (CTA). She underwent left lower lobectomy because of the AVM, but she was diagnosed again with a second AVM in her right lung at age 38. It states that AVMs are treated endovascularly, because of its multilocation and recurrent nature.
