- Title
Single-molecule junctions: Thermoelectricity at the gate.
- Authors
Neaton, Jeffrey B.
- Abstract
The article discusses energy loss through heat displacement in U.S. industrial consumption. It proposes using thermoelectricity, which transforms heat into electricity, to convert heat loss to usable electricity using materials which create electricity due to temperature difference. Topics include electric conductance, Seebeck coefficient and single molecule electronics.
