- Abstract
An editorial is presented which highlights a study that explores temperature profiling in oncological patients with neutropenia and its association with clinical outcomes. The study identifies four subphenotypes based on temperature trajectories and finds that certain subphenotypes are associated with higher mortality rates and bloodstream infections. It mentions that early recognition of these subphenotypes could improve treatment decisions and outcomes for sepsis in this patient population.
