- Authors
Wijsenbeek, Marlies S.; Brusselle, Guy G.
- Abstract
The article discusses a study which examined whether risk stratification of interstitial lung abnormalities, particularly whether combining computed tomography data and pulmonary function could identify subjects with suspected interstitial lung disease (ILD), associated with worse outcomes. Topics covered include the strengths and limitations of the study, the distribution of suspected ILD in the Genetic Epidemiology of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease cohort and early diagnosis of ILD.
