- Abstract
The article presents the summary of the study conducted on the etiology and significance of congenital cranial osteoporosis in infants in the U.S. This study presents the additional observations on congenital craniotabes. In addition, it also consists of 875 nonselected infants with corresponding antepartum histories. It confirms the relationship of congenital craniotabes to several factors including in the infant, birth presentation, race, sex, and order of birth. There were no published reports concerning the relationship of congenital craniotabes to any of these factors except for birth presentation and maternal parity.
