- Abstract
In an article published in Advanced Functional Materials, researchers Wei Liu and his team present a study on the development of customizable zinc ion batteries. They demonstrate that a lightweight porous architecture, consisting of a 3D-printed polymer core, copper sheath, and tailored surface finish, can promote uniform zinc deposition with high reversibility. This approach allows for the creation of high-performance aqueous batteries with customizable geometries. The research findings provide valuable insights for the advancement of battery technology.
