- Abstract
The preprocedural stent size measured from QISS was compared to CTA using the physical stent size as the reference standard. Editorial for "Quiescent-Interval Slice-Selective (QISS) MRI Accurately Estimates Intravascular Stent Dimensions Prior to Intervention in Patients with Peripheral Artery Disease" Endovascular interventions for peripheral artery disease (PAD) have long overtaken surgical bypass as the preferred option for many patients.1 Its lower morbidity and mortality coupled with advances in technology now show good long-term results post intervention.2 Revascularization centers around balloon angioplasty and stenting.
