Viaje Apostólico de Francisco a Malta.
- Abstract
Pope Francis made an apostolic trip to Malta with the aim of promoting hospitality towards migrants and refugees. During his visit, he met with Maltese authorities and expressed his closeness to a group of migrants. He also visited the island of Gozo for a prayer meeting at the National Shrine of Ta' Pinu. Additionally, the Pope visited the cave of St. Paul in Rabat, presided over a mass in the Granaries Square in Floriana, and met with migrants at a reception center in Hal Far, where he spoke about the importance of treating migrants with humanity and expressed his solidarity with those who have been forced to flee their countries due to war and persecution.
