- Abstract
The article offers information on current approaches for the management of von Willebrand disease (VWD). Four strategies are employed for treating VWD. They include endogenous and allogeneic replacement therapy and adjuvant and adjunctive therapy. Studies have revealed that continuing administration of FVIII can prevent bleeding and improve quality of life.
