- Abstract
The authors discuss the study "Predicting the Objective and Subjective Clinical Outcomes of Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction: A Machine Learning Analysis of 432 Patients" which developed machine learning models to predict outcomes of anterior cruciate ligament construction. Topics include issues that inhibit the clinical utility of the study's results, importance of assessing and reporting a comprehensive prediction performance analysis, and limitation of machine learning algorithms.
