- Abstract
The article presents a research which aims to analyze the effectiveness of different dosages of Vitamin D in supporting plasma 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25[OH]D) concentrations in infants. It is mentioned that double-blind randomized clinical trials was conducted of breastfed infants from Québec, Canada along with follow-up studies. Also assigning of participants to receive oral cholecalciferol or Vitamin D3 supplements is mentioned. Statistics derived from the results of the study are discussed along with dosage that increased the concentration of 25(OH)D.
