- Abstract
The article focuses on a meta-analysis study conducted to analyze the effect of overweight and obesity using standard body mass index and also estimates the risks associated with normal weight, overweight and obesity during clinical practices. Several research articles and studies were collected for the analysis from various electronic medical databases without any language restrictions. According to the results, higher level of mortality was associated with all types of obesity and overweight and also recommends use of body mass index (BMI) grouping for further studies.
