- Abstract
This article focuses on the report of a 24-year patient's long history of paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. At electrophysiological assessment, supraventricular tachycardia identical to his clinical tachycardia was reproducibly initiated on many occasions by critically timed atrial extra stimuli. This patient's manifest posteroseptal accessory pathway was not involved in the patient's clinical tachycardia and the "culprit" pathway was left lateral. Although some electrophysiologists would choose to ablate both pathways at the same time, a compelling argument can be made to ablate only the "clinical" pathway.
