- Abstract
The article discusses the case of a 45-year-old man with segmental transmural intestinal infarction of small bowel due to thrombophilia secondary to hyperhomocysteinaemia associated with portal vein thrombosis (PVT). It says that the patient complaint of abdominal pain in his lower abdominal quadrants. It notes that he passed through physical examination and found that his abdomen was tender and guarded. It adds that his laboratory tests showed that he had a neutrophilic hyperleukocytosis.
