- Abstract
Nebria (Falcinebria) kasasugaensis sp. nov. is described from Mt. Kasasuga in Niigata Prefecture, central Honshu, Japan. This new species is closely related to Nebria sagittata Sasakawa, 2020 and Nebria iidesana Sasakawa, 2020; a comparison of their male genital morphology suggests the following relationship: (N. kasasugaensis, (N. iidesana, N. sagittata)). A new distribution record of Nebria niohozana Bates, 1883 is also reported, which represents the lowest altitudinal record of this species.
