- Abstract
Indicators of the risk for CPE infections, mostly not only previous colonization but also other additional factors,[[13], [15]] seem to be a more useful tool to select the target population with the best benefit of new broad-spectrum empirical antimicrobials. Effect of appropriate combination therapy on mortality of patients with bloodstream infections due to carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae (INCREMENT): a retrospective cohort study. Infections due to carbapenem-resistant I Enterobacterales i (CPE) are currently a major emerging problem associated with significant morbidity and mortality associated with nosocomial infections.
