- Abstract
The article focuses on the study which emphasized a phase 3 trial to examine the reliability of the Hershberger assay using coded substances. The study which is part of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Hershberger validation program in Korea involved male Sprague-Dwaley rats that were castrated at six weeks of age and allowed to recover for eight days. It is revealed that the OECD Hershberger assay to be reliable screening method for detecting androgen agonists and antagonists.
