- Title
HANDEDNESS AND THE PATTERN OF HUMAN ABILITY.
- Authors
Miller, Edgar
- Abstract
The article examines the relationship between an individual's handedness and his ability. Study suggests that verbal functions in left-handed persons are represented in both hemispheres of the brain, while in the right-handers, it is confined to the left hemisphere. It has been concluded that real differences in ability between right- and mixed-handers exist and probably reflect basic differences in the asymmetrical organization of functions within the brain.
