- Abstract
This article, published in the Chemistry of Natural Compounds journal, explores the potential antiliver and colorectal cancer activity of metabolites found in the fruits of Cinnamomum macrostemon. The study focuses on isolating compounds from the plant and testing their ability to inhibit the growth of liver and colorectal cancer cells. The results indicate that one of the compounds, liyuephenol, effectively suppresses the growth of these cancer cells. The study suggests that C. macrostemon has the potential to be developed into an anticancer drug. The document provides detailed information on the experimental methods, statistical analysis, and chemical composition of the compounds. The research was supported by grants from Fooyin University.
