- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the trends and patterns of the changes in the phenology of Gingko biloba L. in Japan and its causal factors. The study made use of phonological dataset from 1961-2000 which includes the dates of budding and leaf fall for Gingko from 60 meteorological stations in Japan. Results indicate that variations in the trends of its phenology depends more on the sensitivity to the temperature of the air than the trends of the temperature.
