- Abstract
Objective To explore the current situation and influencing factors of family resilience of patients with total hip arthroplasty, and to provide theoretical basis for the guidance of rehabilitation nursing. Methods 212 family caregivers who were admitted to the orthopaedic department of a general hospital in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province from March to May 2019 were investigated by convenience samplingusing Family Resilience Scale. Results The score of Family Resilience Scale of patients with total hip arthroplasty was 116.19 ± 13.47,of which the score of social support was the lowest in the second-dimension family strength (1.73 ±0.39), and whether there were other caregivers was an independent factor affecting the family resilience of patients with total hip arthroplasty ( = 10.393, <0.01), which could explain 33.6% of the total variation (F=108.004, <0.01) . Conclusion The family resilience of patients with total hip arthroplasty is in the lower middle level and is mainly affected by the number of family caregivers. A reasonable increase in the number of family caregivers will help to improve the family resilience of patients after total hip arthroplasty, and medical stuffs should pay attention to the transitional care and home care of patients after discharge, and help families to pass the rehabilitation care of patients smoothly and healthily.
