- Abstract
The article discusses the results of a study on the prevalence of overweight among community-dwelling adults with knee osteoarthritis (OA) and the relationship between the weight status of these individuals, disease-related outcomes and disease progression. It states that the a high body mass was found among the adults with knee OA. It says that knee joint impact rates and pain may be incrementally affected by being overweight.
