- Abstract
The article focuses on the study on the activities and developmental cycle of 6-phosphofructokinases and inorganic pyrophosphatase in methylotrophic bacteria. The study reveals that the discovery of activity of pyrophosphate-dependent 6-phosphofructokinases (PPi-PFK) and inorganic pyrophosphatase employ various pathways of C1 compound in aerobic methylotrophic bacteria. The study illustrates that among the strains of methylobacteria employing the fructose-bisphosphate, the pkg gene has been cited. Further study is recommended to clarify the effectiveness of PPi-PFK synthesis.
