- Abstract
An essay is presented which examines how the television series "Orphan Black" treats the legality of gene patent and cloning. The essay examines the season two's presentation of the American eugenics movement. It assesses the relationship between the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and its fictional correlation in the season two, episode six episode. The essay also explains how the show exposes religious propaganda, condemns human sterilization and highlights the fallibility of science.
