- Abstract
The article focuses on the images of the universe captured by Chandra X-ray Observatory. Chandra which was lunched by the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in 1999 remains the most sophisticated X-ray telescope ever built. Images of spectacular cosmic activity obtained by Chandra have delighted and inspired the public in the world. The pictures of Crab pulsar nebula that show enormous swirls of tornado-like activity are among the most popular images obtained by Chandra.
