- Abstract
The article offers information on the massive resistance reflected by the U.S. federal and state inferior courts to judicial decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court in cases including District of Columbia v. Heller (Heller I) and McDonald v. Chicago. It informs that the Supreme Court decisions expanded the scope to protect Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms for self-defense.
