- Abstract
The article discusses a research on roller shoe injuries in Ireland. It references a study by M. Vioreanu et al, published in "Pediatrics." Orthopedists in Ireland reported that during the study period, children were referred to their department for orthopedic injuries which were experienced while engaging in the sport of heeling or street gliding using roller shoes. The study found that girls were injured more frequently than boys. According to the study, injured children were not using any protective gear.
