Nodular Cystic Acne Acupuncture Clinical Observation.

- Abstract
Objective: to investigate fire needle therapy combined with topical calamine lotion and compare the clinical efficacy of oral metronidazole in the treatment of nodular cystic acne as the basis, providing a basis for operability of fire acupuncture nodular cystic acne. Method: 60 patients with nodular cystic acne were randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group using fire needle therapy, the control group with combined oral metronidazole topical calamine lotion. Randomized controlled trials, four weeks after treatment, the healing of the clinical manifestations observed two groups of patients with acne and local lesions. Results: in total efficiency, clinical manifestations, skin lesions healed, the treatment group were superior to the control group, a statistically significant difference between the two. Results: The treatment group was more effective than Western medicine. Conclusion: fire needle therapy efficacy in nodular cystic acne was obvious.
