- Abstract
This article provides a summary of notable non-JGME medical education articles from 2023. It discusses a study on the struggles residents face in forming their professional identities and the need for medical educators to address ideological influences. Another study examines the association between surgical resident competency ratings and patient outcomes, offering insights into competency-based medical education.
